FUNDING

Medicare Funding

Desert Therapy is a Medicare Provider. A Medicare rebate for clients referred under the Chronic Disease Management Plan by their GP receive $52.59 per session. Please note that we do not bulk bill. Desert Therapy charges a gap so there will be out of pocket expenses for clients.  Medicare rebate does not cover the entire cost of service with the gap fee needing to be paid.

Private Health Insurance 

Please refer to your private health insurance provider for your health insurance rebate.  

National Disability Insurance Scheme Funding (NDIS)

Desert Therapy is an approved registered provider for the NDIS. Please contact us to discuss and obtain a quote for services required.

Department of Veterans Affairs Funding

DVA health cards (white and gold) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.

NT Motor Accidents Compensation Commission

Your claims officer at TIO can refer to our services.

Private Funding

Weekly billing can be arranged. Please contact us for the schedule of fees.

Home Care Packages (HCP)

If you are receiving a home care package, your aged care provider can make a referral to Desert Therapy.
